Former Paramore member, Zac Farro, has returned to the UK with his new solo masterpiece Halfnoise - and he’s in mountain form.
Swapping arena tours for grassroots venues with 200 audience members for his first full UK tour, the intimacy and general atmosphere is electric: die hard Paramore fans unite. Many with a new sense of matureness coupled with a new and wider appreciation of music.
Farro takes his new project with a new lease of life, as he steals the spotlight with his role of lead vocals, while casually retiring back to the drums in between his deep grooves and shaky indie vibes.
Released on YouTube in 2014, Farro commented,
"As many of you may know, I am usually a drummer. But a few years ago I decided to see what writing and recording my own music would be like, HalfNoise.
I made an EP in my house with a producer (Daniel James) and did a bit of touring. However it wasn't until I played a few shows in New Zealand and spent a few months there that I really realised my passion."
We at Total Scoop predict that this is only the beginning for Zac Farro as his popularity grows.
"The album is called "Volcano Crowe" because we recorded the album at the bottom of a volcano and my friend Rowan Crowe was the reason I visited New Zealand in the first place. Mountain is the first song I completed there, So I thought it would be fitting to share first."
So, buckle your seat-belts and polish your fangirl screams as we expect more acts of greatness from this new and exciting solo venture.
